dry static climbing rope

You can often combine your camping trip with some exercise while enjoying some hiking and often climbing as well. It is important not to over load your back pack with unnecessary items you do not actually need.

A camping flashlight is one of the most important tools you will need. Although hiking on your own can seem like an exiting adventure, it is a lot safer to go hiking in a group. Camping, especially if it is accompanied by trekking and other adventure sport, can be pretty tiring and you will want to rest your weary bones at the end of the day so don't forget your sleeping bag.

Rescuers will begin to look for you where you were last known to be, so wandering farther away could delay a successful rescue. Learn to recognize and remember landmarks and while hiking try to familiarize yourself with your surroundings. It may be a good idea to hire a mountain guide if you are a beginner.

Read a good book with the wind whispering through the leaves. Have a flashlight for each camper in your group.
